The purpose of passive modules is to facilitate and optimise simple wiring operations, thereby enabling up to 60 output poles to be produced from a single input cable and vice versa. As they are so simple to connect and easy to fix in place, they offer real savings in terms of money and time and are available with or without LED signalling for each signal. The Adel system range includes Flat cable, D-SUB, resistor and diode modules.

Flat Cable terminal modules
Main features:
- Connectors HE from 10 to 60 poles
- Small size with 3-level screw terminal blocks
- Available with or without LED on each signal line
- Available with screw- or spring- terminal blocks

- DIN Rail Mounting
Modules for the connection of flat cable connectors, in accordance with IEC 603-1/Din 41 651, to 2 and 3 –level screw terminal blocks. Available from 10 to 60 poles, for a maximum current each way of 500mA. The range is provided with levers for locking connectors in place. Also available in version with LED on each signal line.

SUB-D terminal modules
Main features:
- Connectors HE from 9 to 37 poles
- Small size with 3-level screw terminal blocks
- Available with or without LED on each signal line
- Available with screw- or spring- terminal blocks
- 2-layers printed circuit
- DIN Rail Mounting
Modules for connecting D-SUB male and female connectors in accordance with IEC 807-2/DIN 41 652 and 2 and 3-level screw and terminal blocks. Fitted with two screws which protect them from accidental loosening, the D-SUB modules are available from 9 to 37 poles, for a maximum current of 500mA each way. A metal flange enables it to be connected to earth.
